Thambeka Mvula grew up as international student who moved frequently. She learned how to have a good relationship with vastly different people through the universal love of animated TV shows and movies. This instigated her to studying animation.

She got her Masters in Art in Animation at the Savannah College of Arts and Design. Also, she was a part of a film crew that’s work was an official selection at the Cleveland International Film Festival, Barcelona International film fest and a Semi finalist at the Lonely Wolf International film festival.

Through her work, she hopes to contribute to stories that bridge cultures via a shared love for traditional animation and reminds everyone that friendship can blossom anywhere.
